Laviscount Island hosts Antigua’s Aldabra giant tortoise sanctuary, with more than 50 tortoises roaming a private island full of nature trails, mangroves and a secluded beach. Tours move at a leisurely pace, with time to meet and feed the giant tortoises (feed provided). It’s also the only place in Antigua to see Lesser Antillean iguanas, reintroduced after being locally extinct for many years, alongside colourful parrots.
Owned and operated by Stingray City, Laviscount Island is frequently paired with the stingray experience. Prefer land wildlife? Pick the island tour. Want rays too? Go for the combination.
